Shadow Springs Vineyard is a family owned vineyard in the Swan Creek section of the Yadkin Valley. SSV was founded in January 2005 with the purchase of pristine farmland in Hamptonville, NC. Our first planting was in April of that same year. We planted 2 acres of Merlot and 2 acres of Cabernet Franc. The following year we planted 6.5 more acres which consist of 1.5 acres of Sayval Blanc, 1.5 acres of Chardonnay, 1.5 acres of Viognier, 0.5 acre of Chamborcin, 0.5 acres of Petite Verdot and 1 acre of Cabernet Sauvignon.

Our tasting room is in the process of being built and we will be open to the public in the spring of 2008. The tasting room will overlook the vineyard and the two acre pond. It will be available to rent out for parties, weddings and business meetings. It will have state of the art technology. With two floors and over 5000 square feet, we can accommodate almost any size gathering.
